Oh forget it. It's spring already.

It's been unseasonably cold here. I was so optimistic because we had a really warm February so I have huge tomato plants now which makes me want to cry because I'm worried I'll lose them. Now I'm paranoid because the weather predictions have been so wildly off. One day, they predicted 69 F until 7:00 the night before. Suddenly, it went to 35 and two inches of snow.

Got so frustrated that I decided to do a burn pile today. Low wind. 40's. Got it going and flecks of white stuff started landing on me. Moved out of the way thinking it was ash. Nope! Snow. UNbelievable. So now I've decided to proceed, ignore it all and get my business done. Forget the weather! It's supposed to be spring so now I'm just going to pretend that it is.

It snowed here the last two days. It's depressing. We just got back from a walk and it was raining a little but it's on the bubble of being cold enough that it could snow over night.
    Thanks Everyone!!

So feel your frustration. Two inches of snow two days ago and warm enough today with a hoodie on to do some yard cleanup. I'm so over this winter. AND, we're supposed to get a substantial snow this weekend. So much for going to spring flower shows, I just get depressed.

Our crocuses finally came up. March was significantly colder than normal (though whatever normal is now I'm not so sure). It looks like we will miss the worst of the ice storm ready to hammer areas an hour or so to the north, over through Toronto and further east.
