Planting on a former bridal veil site.

I had a stump grinder guy come out to take out a bunch of things including the remains of a bridal veil. I know that the sawdust / wood chips from hardwoods can be rough on new plants until they rot a bit but don't know anything about bridal veils. Does anyone else? Specifically, I have a dwarf jubilee cherry tree that I want to plant on that site or very close by.

If it's a Bridal Veil, it's a Spiraea. That shouldn't pose any problems.

Great. Thanks. I'm really looking forward to these cherries.

We had a rather large Spirea in our back corner that had to be cut down when we put in a fence. I couldn't believe how hardy and strong the wood was. I chopped it all p on the spot but I wouldn't say I had wood chips left over but am growing a Lilac, an Umbrella tree and a few small things in the area
    Thanks Everyone!!
