Hello everyone! Hope you and your lovely pups are all doing well.

It's been a hectic and somewhat stressful spring for us. Miia developed another lump on her hip and was limping. The first vet visit wasn't a happy one. The vet was giving us some unhappy options, but she wanted to get some x-rays. For a week before we could do the x-rays Miia was on an anti-inflammatory and by the time we went back to the vet she wasn't limping anymore and wanted to go for longer walks again. She does have a growth on her hip (which was causing the swelling), but it's still small, too small to operate on right now, so we'll keep an eye on it.
Then, after that, my daughter and her fiance had their wedding planned for June 23, but he started having stomach issues. He went to a couple of doctors and no one seemed to be able to help him. He finally went to the ER of another hospital and they found out he has an intestinal tumor, at first they said it was a stage 4 tumor. But then they reviewed the scans and said it is a stage 3, which gives him a 50% better chance. He had the surgery today and got the port put in for chemo. The surgery went well. The wedding, of course, as been postponed. And we're all praying he will get through this well.
Paige and Honey have been well, the grandkids are all good and still come to my house almost every day, and Barney and me are ok. My oldest daughter left this morning to visit Alaska with her best friend from high school. They go somewhere new every year. I think they only have 2 more states left to see.
I'm going to go read some posts now and try to catch up with what everyone has been doing. Every time I'm away from the board now I miss you guys, but even if I'm not on here as often, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Glad you checked in, Nancy...nice to hear that most everything is going well. Hope Miia's lump is something that doesn't merit worry.

All good thoughts headed your way for the health of your daughter's fiancé and their future together.

So good to hear you and Barney are doing well. How stressful your past few months have been! Are you doing vacation bible school this summer also? I hope Miia and your daughter's fiance are soon back in good working order. How lucky your girls and grands are to have you so close.

Yes I'm still doing the Preschool Craft and Play for VBS. I've got all the room decorations and all the crafts done and ready. It was good to have something to do to occupy my mind.

So good to hear from you, Nancy. We lost Kimber in late January; the board has been a great comfort to me.

All good thoughts for your daughter’s fiancé.

My daughter's fiance had his operation and it went well. Today he was able to eat solid food, which made him very happy. He's lost a lot of weight since he got sick and being on a liquid diet wasn't helping. They released him late this afternoon, so he's home and getting spoiled. The kids are staying with us for awhile. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.
