I just sent an email to cancel Ram's TP for tomorrow. It doesn't feel safe to drive him downtown to exercise in 26C water.
It's supposed to start getting bad today and we were up early to close all the windows. I've got salads ready to eat or easily make and books to read, I plan to do NOTHING else. Tomorrow, Saturday, our forecast calls for a high of 36C feeling like 46C with the humidex. That's deadly heat. That's about 115F. And continuing for a week, not as bad as Sat the whole time though. I'm in central ONtario, Canada. What's it like where you live?

Supposed to be miserable here 95-100F (35-38C) with high humidity, putting the heat index as high as 110F (44).
Needless to say we won't be getting much field training done the next few days.
St. Louis- 100F+ and 115+ heat index. Way too hot to do much outside except a quick pee and poop!!
ick. just...ick :P

So hot today and this is the calm before the solar storm. We took a load of old fencing to the dump that needed to be cut up first. I hid out the rest of the day while the inlaws used the pool. We enjoyed the later afternoon lazying around outside. Sunday is going to be a scorcher.
You can all come over west (southern Alberta) and cool off in our rain!
Like Berna, we're expecting rain for the long weekend and into early next week. I still have so much yard and garden work to do, ugh.
Similar here. High humidity as well. We're holing up. Running a sprinkler for the goats and birds and cranking the window AC's for the dogs. The dogs just can't handle extreme weather anymore.
Same heat and humidity here. We don’t have central air, so Thursday we bought a second unit for the living room and got it put in. Everyone is currently hibernating in the nice cool bedroom. I’m going for a kayak trip down the Sydenham today. When I get home imagine we will sit on the deck, watch the grass grow and have a beverage!
