    The tomatoes are winning.

I did tomatoes, peppers and two eggplants in this plot.

    The tomatoes are winning. Oops.

Nice. I planted 3 tomatoes. One is a cherry tomato and I thought it would be smaller and it turns out it is the bully in the garden. I had to tie it back a little so the rest of the plants could get some sun.
    Thanks Everyone!!

Cherry tomato plants are absolute beasts. The one by my front door is taller than I am. I have a 54" cage around it and now I have five foot bamboo stakes connected by string around that. I'm trying to get it to grow in circles. Or anything to keep it off the ground. Maybe just pile it up.

We do this thing that's like a drinking game but with tomatoes and raspberries. If either of us passes a tomato plant or raspberry bush, we have to eat something off of it. I'm about a week away from getting sick of raspberries which I didn't think would ever happen.

Would it be cheating to pick a whole bunch and freeze them?

We'll have to do that shortly. Most of the tomatoes are green so we're keeping up for the moment. I won't eat raw tomatoes unless I grow them so I'm really happy to be snacking on them right now. My husband eats about four a day. Hope he doesn't get an allergy!

Tomatoes are tricky since the animals can't eat them. Chickens can in small amount but nobody else.
