    That had to be painful.

My friend's daughter had her baby last week. 11 lbs 4 oz, 2 feet long.

I can't even imagine. I told her to have fun playing with her toddler. Does the kid just start walking immediately or is he going to be a giant?

Wow. Hope both are fine. Diabetes testing?

My nephew was nearly 11 pounds. It's was a forceps delivery and the poor kid had so little room in the womb his head was canted to one side so his poor little neck was on a tilt and shorter on one side. Sis had to place him in, well, sort of a rack, to force his poor little head and neck to stretch back the other way. And do exercises too. It made both of them cry.

She didn't say anything about diabetes. I brought up a relative's issue with that a few weeks ago without knowing anything about her daughter in law's situation and she didn't mention it. Seems the most likely scenario but mother and son are doing well where my relative's son wound up at the hospital for three weeks.

That is just a rough scenario. Did your nephew recover?

My nephew was fine in a few weeks. IF you know where to look on his head, faint forceps marks that dented his skull can be seen, still, he's 37.

My granddaughter was over 10 pounds. She looked like a 4 month old the day she was born. She just turn 4, and is still over 100% on the growth charts.
