    Growing artichokes!

It has been so hot and humid here for so long that I'm growing artichokes! I haven't done that since we lived in Arizona. So excited. I found a "New England" variety called Imperial Globes in addition to the Green Globes I started a couple of months ago. It's going really well. Everything is in pots.

Does anyone grow these guys indoors? Looking for overwintering tips.

They're really fun. The flowers are just out there. It's like neon blue purple. All those filaments you scrape out near the heart when you eat them become the flower. They take up to two years to mature though.

I've just never had to bring them inside before.
