Town put up a water ban sign.

Smack in the middle of town square. Sometimes I wonder where our tax dollars are going. This is what accumulated in our big pot on the porch in just two days. My husband said that at times it was like someone turned on a fire hydrant.

We've lived in areas with water bans during long drought conditions, primarily North Carolina, which for homeowners usually meant not watering lawns or washing cars. Good thing dormant lawns and dirty cars don't drive us too crazy. Heavy rains would make us hopeful but then you'd drive past some of the lakes or reservoirs and the water levels were still so low that you'd wonder how we were getting any water at all. I hope things recover for you soon.

Don't even get me started Our town is building a new complex to the tune of $34M. We have been on a water ban for years. Usually it is just an alternating day water restriction but not this year. We can water 1 day per week and not between 6am and 6pm. If we can spend this much on a new police, fire, and town hall you would think they could at least fix the water supply first. (OK I'm done with my rant)
