      August photo shoot

I was offline for the past week plus.

After a busy day in the yard we relaxed on the deck, wearing our 'Don't Stop Retrieving' t-shirts, with beverages kept cool in our Lab koozies.

Not gone, only gone on ahead - Bruno, Rex, BoJo, Kendal, Kingsley, Moonpie, Avis, Corndog, and Stella

You guys look younger everytime you show a picture. How do you do it??????? I guess all the hard work, relaxation and of course love for each other adds to your youth.

You all look remarkably cool, calm, and collected for having worked in the yard all day. It would be fair to say I generally look like I was pulled from a rabbit hole feet first after an hour or 2 of yard work. You probably don't wait until it looks like a disaster, though. You look great as always. Don't stop retrievin'

It was my last weekend of freedom before the “dreaded red orbs of death” start (aka tomato season). I started a different job this year, working in the control room for the evaporator. It’s great, eight day hour shifts, AC comfort, monitoring gauges and making the odd adjustment here and there. Much nicer than 10 1/2 hour shifts working from 5:30pm to 4am, with no AC. The only down side is I may end up working Canadian Thanksgiving.

Shelley, thank you for your kindness.

Mike, awww. You are very kind! One is only as old as one chooses to feel and we choose to not feel old. Sometimes we do feel a little creaky . . .

smartrock, I must confess that we showered and felt fresher afterwards than before.

Love the Koozies. I have one in every jacket pocket and take one wherever I go. I always get compliments at bars or sports functions when I take one out for my beer. People are like, Why didn't I think of that?
      Thanks Everyone!!

I'm so happy to hear about this change! I was dreading the red orbs of death for you and wondered when that was supposed to begin. Whew! Congratulations!
