OK. My husband is here and has back pedaled on the whole room in that color plan. I'm no farther along other than to think that I should just get the white and beige paint on everything and go from there.
I'm color illiterate. I have few if any artistic skills. However, I have had success with those color schemes that paint companies put out. Landed on one based on the white I was using. We need a color for an accent wall which is almost entirely a giant picture window. This is my husband's house. The paint colors were a greenish teal with beige trim but it's been over 60 years since it was last painted. It is tongue and groove even on the ceiling so even when I go over it with a roller, I still have to paint it with a brush. To make matters worse, we have 43 windows in the house almost all of which are those twelve paned jobs. Each one has to be cleaned and painted. We already had them restored on the exterior. I intend to use the same trim paint color for all of the windows and the doors.
Landed on Silky Bamboo for the trim. It's a very pale beige. I'm happy with that. The original beige is much darker so this works without it being too white.
I meant for the walls and ceiling to be Elegant White off of the color scheme. It's almost too white but I can go with the Silky Bamboo instead. Then I wanted the accent wall in the living room to be a dark aqua, again off of the color scheme. I've been sitting here staring at it for a couple of hours and it is not growing on me. Meanwhile, my husband took one look at it and now wants the entire living room that color.
What would you do? Paint the rest of the accent wall and see what it looks like or ditch it now and try for something else, like a darker blue? Or stare at it some more while working on the Silky Bamboo areas?

I would add a Marine grey type color, to the beige colors, I have this darker color in my bedroom and love it.
It is very similar to this

That blue is pretty vibrant. I like it but it is bright. I'd probably look for something a bit darker and more muted for an accent wall. Do you have any colors in the furniture or upholstery that would point you in one direction or another as to color family? I like the Silky Beige a lot and maybe you can find a color that shows up in something that's in that room already to point you toward a good color for the accent wall.
Did you get any samples to try before going with the color you chose? We recently had a house painted gray and my first choice of color looked good on the chip and great in a brochure of exterior house colors. When I painted a sample on the house, along with the shades one lighter and one darker of that color, it looked very blue, with a lighter blue and darker blue accompanying it. I was super surprised. I ended up trying 6 different shades before finding a gray I wanted. Fortunately they were on sale at the time.
Our living room chairs have a dark red stripe going through the upholstery and there's some dark red in the pattern on the rug, it's not the main color. I painted most of the room sort of a pale, creamy yellow and put a dark red on the wall with the fireplace. It seems to complement the furnishings and add a little something to the decor without shouting, look at me, look at me!

Since the room was one color and a pretty powerful one at that with a wood floor, we have always had neutral (brown leather) furniture. My plan is to use my sewing class to figure out how to make curtains which I want to use at the color component in the room. Meanwhile, I redid this corner entirely in Silky Bamboo and will do the entire living room in that color to start then figure out the accent wall and/or the window frames which are completely lost now! That's OK. Getting rid of the color has been excruciating between the nooks and crannies. I have never spent this kind of time on a paint job before. My husband keeps saying, "You're a great painter and always have been!" I think this is his way of saying, "Keep going because I'm sure as heck not going to do it!"
That's all right. The thought of hiring a professional makes me want to cringe. I just finished for the night and still have nine windows to go.
I'm confused. That blue wall is inside? Or outside? It's pretty bright but I've seen it used outside on little fishing village type houses. Like a Maude Lewis painting.

Pretty blue but a little much for me. What am I saying, I can't do better than making the house look like a hotel room, LOL.
For the windows, there is a product you paint on the windows, kind of clear, and then do your stiles and rails. When dry, take a exacto knife or box cutter and go around the window on the glass, next to the wood. Then peel the film off the glass. Sharp edges and no messy cleanup.
