    Pants! I have achieved pants!

Third time's the charm! That was not intuitive at all. For me, anyway. My second effort was really funny. Wrong side out on one panel. Then I connected everything wrong and managed to mix up the waistband with the hem so the crotch was at my knees. In any event, I stuck with it and made these. Too big and ridiculously cheap fabric but I feel a lot more comfortable going forward with something that costs more.

Congratulations. You do realize, of course, that some people actually buy pants with the crotch around the knees.

You are almost inspiring me to pull out my sewing machine. Well done, you’ll be doing pants for your goats and hens in no time!

Congratulations! Pants are not easy at all. What I would do is mark each piece with tailor's chalk, wrong side of fabric, when I cut them out; B for back, F for front. Only way I could keep it straight.

Hint: Never try putting in a front fly, no way, no how. I finally gave up.

    Elastic all the way!

The really pathetic thing about my right / wrong mixup is that this is one of those fabrics where there's no question whatsoever which side is which. The wrong side is practically white.
