    Well crap. It is cancer.

Going in tomorrow for a consult. Just basal cell and probably inevitable given my history. They do that Moh's surgery which is like an extended biopsy so hopefully that will be all that needs to be done.

Sorry to hear that. It seems like I see people every week who look like they've had Moh's surgery with little dressings on their faces. Hope it's quick and relatively easy to go through.

Good luck. One of my friends at the park has had this twice in the time I've known her. (she still won't wear sunscreen)

Sorry to hear, but very treatable. Get it done and consider your self lucky. My neighbor had it done and he looks great.

Thanks. It's more of an inconvenience than anything. I had a lot going on next week so that has to go by the wayside if they have an opening. My husband is a little rattled though. He's out of town. We had this conversation:

Me: Do you know where the new insurance cards are?
Him: I scanned them then I put them on the edge of something.
Me: I'm sorry? What does that mean?
Him: I wanted to make sure I would remember them so I put them on the edge of the desk or the kitchen table. Something like that.
    Me: I don't see them.
Him: You know what? Check under the tomatoes.

Needless to say, they weren't under the tomatoes.

"Check under the tomatoes." You should use that as your secret code for something from now on....

(it struck me as really funny)

Well that stinks. I am not familiar with this but from the comments it sounds like one of the lessor evils. Good thoughts this is cleared up quickly.
