    Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

I was fortunate to be able to visit the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust site at Slimbridge on my trip to the UK last month. Founded by Sir Peter Scott (son of Captaincies Robert Scott, the explorer who died along with his men while leading an expedition to Antarctica) the WWT has 10 locations throughout the UK, with Slimbridge being the first site. If your interested you can find more info here: WWT

Many of the birds at migratory and spend their winters at Slimbridge, other are birds from around the world on display. I'm sorry I can name all of these varieties of waterfowl, but I hope you enjoy these pics anyway! This is just a small sample of the pics I took, you can access the full slideshow here: Slimbridge Visit - Barry Gunning
