What hobby would you take up if it wasn't so expensive?

We visited the Pickering Flea Market on the weekend. We used to go a couple of times a year but we hadn't been in awhile.

I bought a McFarlane Cooperstown Yogi Berra figure to add to my collection, Ovechkin Rookie Card (not an expensive one) and a Aaron Judge Rookie Card. I would have bought a few more baseball or hockey cards but the good ones add up. Too much for me to get into seriously collecting.

What would you take up if it wasn't so expensive to get into?
    Thanks Everyone!!

I would buy and ride a horse again. I used to have a horse, ride, train horses for the farm I boarded at, showed green horses that were for sale (young, just started horses), and eventually taught beginner riders. Once my Dad stopped paying the bills after college, riding went by the wayside. VERY expensive hobby, especially if you have to board your horse at a boarding facility.

Flipping houses. Pure fantasy. The initial outlay is much too much. Otherwise my hobbies are pretty cheap or they have a guaranteed payback.

I love love love hobbies where I am doing something physical, but try to only invest in the ones I am really doing frequently (so that my SO will not leave me or faint when he sees the CC bill).

    1. Outdoor sports: kayaking, SUPing, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, biking
    2. More house construction/woodworking/DIY

That's a tough one. If my body wasn't so messed up I'd still be doing track days on sport bikes, which I did from 2003 until 2010 when my back got to the point it was basically unsafe for me to be on the track. And that was an expensive hobby. In the same vein, I'd like to be able to do motorcycle touring, especially in Europe, but my body won't stand for that either.

It's kinda sad, because most of the hobbies I'd like to try aren't practical because of my physical issues. Even the dog sports are getting tougher. I would like to expand my photography and shooting hobbies I suppose..........

I'd have a horse. I rode but never had my own. Several ladies I've met through dog classes used to have horses, dogs are not quite as expensive.
