    But just think...you could match your panties to your totes. I don't recommend using tea-dyed fabric for that project, though.

    Your totes idea for the residents to sew up is wonderful. Would they have access to what they'd need for what you envision as being their part(s) of the project, or would you be doing a lot of the work?

    I am so envisioning the blue stripe grannies....

    I might do the handles. They have sewing machines but class time is limited.

    That ticking fabric would be so painful! It's cute though. These are my fabrics for my personal bags.

    Thats a great project and I am sure it will be much appreciated. I hope you post some pictures when you done they look great. I have one a friend made from parachute material. I have been using it for over 8 years

    I can definitely see a tote with that fabric.

    Nice to know that the sewing machines are available. I think this would be a much appreciated project.

    I live with scatica, its bad and good . all in one. day . Congrats.
    I walk a few miles and started doing krav mega a very intense self defense class. Strangely the days i work out are my good days. Sitting on my az always flares up.

    i could have surgery but its is 50% chance so heck i will kick it.

    If I'm going to be sitting for more than a few minutes, I need to sit "on" something to avoid/alleviate sciatica. I use a Sacro Wedgy (the male version...they explain which to choose): https://www.amazon.com/s?k=sacro+wed...b_sb_ss_i_1_11

    It seems silly but it really works. (I don't use the extra pad.)
