Glad to hear good results but sorry about the one year repeat. For me, the prep seemed quite benign. I don't remember the procedure at all- apparently the anesthesia worked really well. Despite that, I've been putting off my next one.

I've had a few, but I've also had the one year repeat. My last one cleared me for 5 years I believe, but the one (two haha) before that did not. I had a barium swallow the day before a colonoscopy a couple years ago and I specifically asked the medical staff if there was any contraindications with having a colonoscopy the next day. Of course they all said no. The next day, after doing the prep, etc. you just went through, the GI doctor doing the colonoscopy said he couldn't see anything because of the barium fluid (milky white) still in my system. So basically I went through the entire process to end up with zero results outside of needing another colonoscopy within a year. He didn't see anything major, but wouldn't let me go 5 years due to the complication. Ugh...

Glad yours turned out OK for a year at least.

LOL, this came across my FB as a cure for constipation. I submit it might also work for colonoscopy prep.
