An injection in the anus! OMG, I'd be yelling too. I've seen videos of goats being wormed and it seemed to be a liquid you put down their throat. Is that passé now? Glad you've connected with a vet you have confidence in.

Labsnewfy: I had visions of your recounting burping a goat with the farmer having a goat on his shoulder, patting its back.
Fortunately she did stop. We only had the one really bad incident with the scur. Other than that, it was just vaccinations and physical exams. We were lucky. Her thing seemed to be eating the goat as the end game rather than the longevity of the pet and it really pissed her off that that sentiment was involved with some of the owners. I had zero faith in her and my husband and I discussed humane ways of putting our goats down ourselves if there was ever a serious issue like a wild animal attack because of her attitude. We knew we couldn't count on her. The new vet lives in the next town over and I'm breathing a sigh of relief knowing that she's there.
