    New saltwater fish tank

Back at the end of 2016 I posted about our 200 gallon saltwater fish tank we were in the middle of setting up and adding fish. New Home for Mr. Blue Face Angle
Well not long after I posted about it the darn thing started a slow leak, long story short that one came down and we decided to bite the bullet and have one custom made bigger! Here's a quick video of our new 250 gallon tank this thing is big it measures 5ft x 4f x 3 1/2ft! We also had the build a new stand out of 1" square tubing we welded together. In the video you'll see a few fish and some of the coral frags we are putting in. Anyways hope you enjoy the video.

Beautiful! I'd love to go salt water but so not versed in setting up or upkeep. I'm currently running 3 small 5g tanks; one has a betta and a nerite snail, one has a huge mystery snail and ghost shrimp. The third is almost ready to become a shrimp tank with a skittles mix. Waiting for the darn wood to stop floating even after a long boil, LOL

That's beautiful. How big is the tank, width etc? My mind is not familiar with that many gallons.

Snowshoe - the tank is 5ft (1.524 meters) long x 4ft (1.219 meters) wide x 3.5ft (1.066 meters) tall. Basically its probably wider than your arms stretch out to your side. 250 gallons is about 946.35 liters.

I'll try to load some still pictures when I get a chance.

That looks great! I have a nephew who has always had huge saltwater tanks and he now also breeds and sells sea horses. I'm always so impressed with the beauty of salt water tanks and yours is really lovely!

Here's a few still pictures of the tank. We are by far no where close to being finished with this tank. The LED lighting just went in yesterday, still have to build a canopy and a base and as well as add more fish and corals, SPS and LPS.

Very cool! We had saltwater aquariums from for several years. We broke down the last one to redo the floors in our old house and haven't gotten back into it since. I'd consider getting a 5 gal cube for this house.
