Wow...the prices some (poorly managed) companies will pay to save money. lol
I cannot complain about my prescription plan at all - $5 per no matter what the drug and that even covers 90 day supplies. The pharmacy is close and convenient.
Well, in a stroke of genius, one of my prescriptions (no, I don't take a lot) got a notice that it had to be refilled by mail. OK, been there, done that in the past. Got to thinking, this particular prescription should not get overheated, as in the current weather. Today it arrived, in a cooler, with no less than 9 cool packs, 2 day delivery. WTH. It must have cost many times over what I would have paid at the pharmacy and yes, they are billing me for only $5. Unbelievable.

Wow. You're lucky you only have to pay $5 no matter what. My prescriptions are on a tier type plan. Two medications I take monthly have no generic equivalent so my copay is $45 a month if I go to the brick and mortar store. It's $90 for 90 days through mail order. Our prescription plan switched to CVS Caremark this year. They have been really good so far.

They tried that with ours too. They don't deliver the mail here!! My PO box is 25 miles away. And the cranky old address nazi working there sends the mail back if they forget to dot an i or cross a t on the address. It got so bad we had to go into the next town and rent a box at the UPS store. Now we only have junk mail going to the US post office. Then, even if they did accept the mail, they won't ship prescriptions or other things to a PO Box and insist I give my physical address and we would start over, "THey don't deliver mail to my home!"
