The Mosquitoes are Awful Right Now

I just walked the dogs around the block at about 10:30 this morning and we were swarmed.

Was out at lunch hanging a couple of flower baskets and doing a few yard tasks and they were unbearable.

All that rain and no heat has made it prime breeding for the little buggers.

It's going to be a tough summer.
    Thanks Everyone!!

Thankfully they spray them here. This year wasn't so bad thus far.

If I'm going to be outside for an extended period of time I'll spray this stuff on. It is deet-free, works against mosquitoes, black flies, AND ticks, and it doesn't reek. https://www.homehardware.ca/en/175ml...lent/p/5047222

I bought a can of the spray you recommended PI Active. Not the compass bottle but the spray can.

Golfed last night and the one we play is covered in Pine Trees and Cedars. Lots of water and farmers fields around.

But it was windy for the most part and that kept them at bay.

But when I did go near or in the bushes there would be 100's of them and they left me alone for the most part.

I will have to test it again and see how it does but it looks promising.
    Thanks Everyone!!

I bought mosquitoes plants for my back yard and front porch, they seem to help keep them away from us when we are in those areas. I usually use the spray stuff when i am out and about to keep from being a walking buffet.
