Binged it the first night it was out.

I think that season 2 is actually the set of shows they decided not to air season 1. The reason I think that is that by the end of season 1, the contestants were getting pretty good and taking themselves pretty seriously and the judges just went flat but the contestants in season 2 were rank amateurs and the judges were having a lot of fun. I mean, the judges are always very nice, especially Jacques Torres who is the experts' expert but yeah, the "creations" are just terrible. My favorite was the one where the guest judge was horrified when Nicole Byer started ribbing Jacques. He just said, "That's Jacques Torres. You're making fun of Jacques Torres." And Jacques was just like, yeah well, I get to be me here. He and Nicole are so funny together.

I hope they keep the amateurs. It just won't be the same show if they don't.

    Maniac on Netflix.
    I believe it's a single season series.
You'd have to look up the description to even get a remote idea of what happens. Jonah Hill and Emma Stone star in it. Give it a little while as you are going to have a million questions. It's fascinating. We sat down last night to watch a couple and ended up watching four of the 10.
Like nothing we have ever seen before.
If it were winter and had nothing to do, we would have finished it right there. Going to watch three more tonight. Can't wait!

We just finished watching Safe and enjoyed that, too. We try to limit ourselves to one episode per night but it's hard.

Next I'd like to watch Godless but since the new fall series are back on the regular network channels, I might have to watch that by myself.

The Good Cop. The straight man in it is absolutely hilarious.

I started it and tried to watch it but lost interest pretty fast. It looks like a lot of shock factor.

Salt Fat Acid heat. Documentary food show in four episodes based on her book of the same name. Very educational.

Apostle is about an hour longer than it should be, extremely violent in a how did they get funding way and at the end I wound up thinking three things. Who was the "creature"? How did they identify and capture the goddess? And what was the big blood explosion at the end about?
