He says it's the best show on Netflix, in his opinion. Of course, since it deals with serial killers, you have to be OK with the subject matter also. He said the first episode may be hard to get into but that it really gets good if you stick with it. He also worked on The Wire and that was a little hard to imagine being good, based on the first episode, too, but I loved The Wire. Anyone else with an opinion on Mind Hunter?
Sorry I missed this. Yes Mind Hunter is an amazing show. It chronicles the first two FBI agents that developed "profiling" to catch serial killers which is somewhat common place today if you watch any crime shows. The gem is the ongoing theme at the start which is setting up for something big. I won't ruin it but you can pretty much guess what it is after a few episodes.

I would say it's one of of the best on there right now for sure. I like watching crime documentaries and shows so it's right up my alley.
    Thanks Everyone!!

I really enjoyed this season. The two actors were great together and the story was interesting. A slow burn but that doesn't bother me.

We have 2 more episodes to watch and I can't wait to see them and finally see the resolution.

The Highwaymen. Based on the true story of two former Texas Rangers who go after Bonnie and Clyde. Well acted and thought provoking.

When I saw the title of this thread but before I even opened it my first thought was, "ooh, season 2 of Mindhunter starts today!" Looks like I wasn't the only one looking forward to it!

Not Netflix but HBO. The Rightous Gemstones with Danny McBride and John Goodman. If you were a fan of Eastbound and Down, you will love it. A super wealthy (greedy) televangelist family is involved in a ridiculous blackmail scheme. Language and some nudity could be a problem for some.

Also on HBO, Succession. Four grown kids vie for their father's multi million dollar media conglomerate.

Since I’m recovering from surgery on a broken leg I’ve been catching up on a lot of things on my watch list. MindHunter was fantastic!

I’ve been dipping into a show on Netflix called Documentary Now! It’s a comedy series where they parody all kinds of documentary styles. Each episode is only 20 minutes or so and standalone. Some are hilarious and some fall a little flat, but overall I’m enjoying it.

    Some other shows I loved:

Bruno! (it's about a dog, and it's short you can watch it in a day, literally)

Peaky Blinders (it's a more serious TV show, a bit heavy, but I like heavy)

Stranger Things (just watched the new season, didn't like the ending much, but it's funny how a well-made this show is, and based on a very stupid subject on the other hand!)

Currently watching Mindhunter, and waiting for the new seasons of Peaky Blinders and The Blacklist. I was also wondering when is the new season of Better Call Saul coming out, I love that show too.
