Ozark is returning next week to Netflix. It's a series for those of you looking to binge during the current social isolation phase. I am looking forward to it.

My brother and I watched Spenser Confidential earlier this week on Netflix. Same main characters as the Robert B Parker books and Spenser for Hire series from back in the day, Spenser and Hawk. It hasn't gotten the greatest reviews but I thought it was light and humorous and entertaining enough to spend about 2 hours watching.

Devs is a show on FX has me hooked. Nick Offerman is a Bill Gates figure in the future working on a super computer. There's spies and secretes. The second episode is where you find more about the program. Good stuff.
    Thanks Everyone!!

Amazing Stories has been rebooted onto Apple TV. I have a free membership because of a phone upgrade. Anyways a few episodes in and it's pretty good. More wholesome Twilight Zone type stories.

Anyways I has happy to see Robert Forster in an episode.
    Thanks Everyone!!

Speaking of Twilight Zone, I watched one the other day, the SyFy channel has Twilight Zone Tuesdays. This episode from 1960- 60 years ago!- was about 3 astronauts who land on some asteroid where odd things are happening. We guessed the ending but it was pretty hilarious to see their space ship, their flight suits, how their spaceship landed on the asteroid. The story was rather stupid but how they depicted what space flight would look like in the future was pretty funny. I'm just going to sit in this geri chair (a hospital chair for oldsters) while our spacecraft lands itself.

I thought I'd check out some of these, since Tiger King isn't my style:

eta: OK, that article was printed in mid-February so some of those films are no longer available. Some are but not all.

"No One Saw a Thing". It's on the Sundance channel through Amazon Prime. It's a 6 episode docuseries about a small town in Skidmore, Missouri. They had a town bully who terrorized the town for many years and the law did little to stop it. The town (497 people) finally had it, got together for a meeting at the local bar and decided to take matters into their own hands. They walked outside of the bar after their meeting, Bully was sitting in his pickup truck with his wife. The townfolk surround the truck and shot and killed him, in the the street, in broad daylight. Between 45 and 60 people were present and...no one saw a thing. They have kept their mouths closed for FORTY years. The series is about that shooting and what has happened in the 40 years following that shooting. There is a crime detailed in episode four that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and you WILL lose your appetite. I've watched dozens and dozens of these shows, Snapped and all kinds of crime/serial killer type stuff and I have never heard of anything that gruesome and sadistic. Ugh. Enjoy!

I am bouncing back and forth between Turn (Washington’s first spies back in 1778) and Fauda (Israeli drama about terrorist and anti-terrorist groups.) Both are excellent.

So the DH is from the area but not that town. He grew up hearing scary, bad stories about this guy from his family- all area farmers. When I was in college nearby, it had just happened. Unbelievable. A college friend was from Skidmore and his mom owned a local business. He had horrifying stories about this dude too. Not a peep from the townspeople. This was one bad dude.
