Haunting of Hill House. Very good. Based on the Shirley Jackson novella although I'm not sure how far the comparisons go there. Hopefully, the writers will figure out material to take it farther.

Seriously. This ^^. And have a box of tissues nearby. I think what I love best about the series (I just finished #4) is how incredibly loved the dogs are. Just completely adored. Each episode is a totally different subject, situation, theme. Definitely worth a watch.

They just released "Springsteen on Broadway" yesterday. We saw it live back in October, and it was spectacular. If you are a Springsteen fan, or just a music fan, I think you'll enjoy it.

If you like the Coen Brothers The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is pretty good. A couple of different stories set in the old west with quirky endings and big stars. Love the Old Prospector and Hanging story.
    Thanks Everyone!!

So Woody, I see you watched Mind Hunter, or at least had started to back in 2017. How did you like it? I was standing in line at the Motor Vehicle Admin waiting to show some documents to prove I am who I say I am and the guy in front of me is/was in charge of set design for many shows, including Mind Hunter. He says it's the best show on Netflix, in his opinion. Of course, since it deals with serial killers, you have to be OK with the subject matter also. He said the first episode may be hard to get into but that it really gets good if you stick with it. He also worked on The Wire and that was a little hard to imagine being good, based on the first episode, too, but I loved The Wire. Anyone else with an opinion on Mind Hunter?

Not Netflix but "Escape from Dannemora" on Showtime. Story of the prison outbreak in WAY upstate NY. The female prison tailorshop supervisor has relations with two inmates and they convince her to help them break out so they can all go to Mexico together. Based on the real-life prison break in 2015. Tilly Mitchell--based on the series AND her subsequent interviews after the series aired--is a bonified narcissistic, small town buffoon who was given a smidge of power, some male attention and lost her mind. Annoying and entertaining all at the same time. ETA: Some pretty graphic sex scenes.

HBO- True Detective Season 3. They actually conclude this one much tidier than seasons past.
