This White-throated Sparrow has been a frequent visitor to the backyard during the past few days. When I first saw it, I thought it was a White-crowned Sparrow. The yellow lore and white throat proved otherwise.

Yes, sparrows are very hard to ID. Although I have seen this species in years past I had to go to All About Birds to confirm the ID.
I heard that an oriole was spotted one street over. Time to get the nectar feeders out!
