my niece is doing well.( thanks for asking) after 4 chemo treatments and a pet scan, they said "all done". she has to go back in 4 months, just for a check up and bloods then every 4 months and scans, for 2 yrs. after that i wasn't there so no one took notes, but she will ask.

she's back to running-2 miles-but the next day, exhausted but dr said, ok to do. she looks great, fuzz starting to come back.

i think she got lucky, actually.
thanks for asking and thinking of her.

i will take pictures but the floor is so shiny that the glare makes white lines on the pictures.

the issue with the insurance is really just the replacement price . it has to do with the depreciation, so in the end, it's nice that they will give me something but boy oh boy , i will never end up getting the $7300 back. i'm just starting to buy stuff, but it has to be held.so space to store a thing. of course, i am a neat nut, so thank goodness the cleaners are holding all the clothing. my closets are all stuffed. the little room off the den has become the storage room. that thrills me to death.

    but it's getting there.

^^I am so commandeering this phrase!

Glad to hear the update, and that everything is going pretty much okay. Soon it will be a bad memory. Sending hugs.
