But I bet your neighbour will just go off willy nilly with no training on the thing. Poor little dog. Maybe she meant a prong? Poor little dog.
she will never be able to coordinate the vibration with the behavior. never.
last night she came in to tell me the dog didnt seem right. what does that mean? well, she shlepped the dog an hour in the car, to her ma's . stayed for a while (to get $ for my car bang that she tried to skip out on) and then an hour back. god only knows what else. says he's lethargic, and eyes glassy.

she's cracked so hard to tell what she 's saying or means.

and pray tell, what's with the trainer? the trainer doesn't see what she's like?

and yes, the dog is 9 months old, lived in a pet store till she bought it (yes, i told her all about puppy mills, designer dogs, all before she did the purchase. but after all, they told her it came from a breeder!!!!) and 8 lbs and never had any training, and at least this time around, she got a crate, like i begged her to do with the last dog.

I have a little e collar I use with Lily. Use it for recall only just like the labs except I've never ever shocked her with it. I have the electric stim set to zero so it can't be pressed accidentally and only use the vibrate feature.

But I'm also experienced in using one, know how to properly introduce it.

I really feel for this poor little dog. It got off to rough start in life and looks like it will only get worse from here.

Yes, they make little ones. I have an 8 lb dog also. Mine in mini Einstein brand and it goes from 0 to 100. I keep the stim turned off but I couldn't feel anything below a 5 on the inside of my wrist.

    It's not the collar that's a problem it's whose hands it's in.

Good to know! I've only had experience with hunting collars.

I was wondering if the "car" neighbor and the "dog" neighbor were the same. She shouldn't be allowed to drive or have a dog!

Perhaps you can convince her that she's supposed to put the collar on herself. Is that bad of me :0

yes . one in the same.
doesn't if seem that they were the same nitwit.

and yesterday she saw me outside with eli, came out, holding the loop of the leash with one finger. i said YOU ARENT HOLDING THE LEASH RIGHT AGAIN.
she said YES, I AM. and then proceeded to wrap it.
i will be surprised if the dog survives. i just don't want to see it squashed.

tho i expect it will be crazy just like her last dog.
    and her.
