    more kittens

Just got another batch of 3 week old kittens so I'm bottle feeding once again 2 didn't make it. They are very skinny and have watery diah. Got albon from the vet and mixed pedilite in with Thier formula hoping to keep them hydrated. On a good note the other two I was holding to retest tested neg so they left Tues to be adopted.

Thank you for rescuing these poor little kittens. It makes for long nights. My heart won't allow me to do that kind of work. I'd have a house full of cats coz I wouldn't be able to give them up!

You are so lucky the rescue is finding homes for them. I still have two, the rescue I'm with has all of theirs (5, it's a new rescue) and there have been stories on TV begging people to help foster or take a kitten. Apparently bad as spring is for kitten births this spring is even worse than usual.

Poor wee babies, so sad two didn't make it. It's wonderful of you to take these wee things knowing the heartbreak you might be exposing yourself to.

Kittens are hanging in there. The diah is a tad better tho I have to bathe them daily and I use unsented baby wipes in between and pat them dry. Thier little butts are raw from just liquid diah and being wet all the time. I've been putting cortisone cream on them twice a day and it seems to be helping. They eat well. I've been going every 3 to 4 hours. I think the person who gave them to me was feeding them 2 hours but I think they were getting fed to much and that's why they had diah.

Hopefully that will be cleared soon and I don't have to bathe them as often.
