    Unhappy Joan Rivers

Is anyone following the news about Joan Rivers? It is so sad.
it seemed as though she was just fine before she went in to have the throat procedure. You would think that her doctors would have recommended that she have the procedure in a hospital where they are better equipped to handle an emergency rather than a clinic.. especially at her age.

Unfortunately, it is not looking good for her.

It's too bad, I never was a fan of hers but none the less, I don't want her to die. What a horrible things. I have a SIL that went in for a procedure and had a stroke. She lived but has disabilities galore. Poor thing.

I read online that her daughter will have to make a decision regarding removal of the ventilator in the next few days. With all of the cosmetic procedures she has had done, she has had her share of anesthesia without problems. I wonder if the "throat procedure" was another nip/tuck. I have never been a fan of JR. Always thought her humor was crude and cruel at the expense of others. Have you seen that fashion show she has that critiques others clothing? Some of her comments are beyond mean.

Couldn't have said it better. I do feel sorry for the daughter, though, as she seems to have never been able to create an identity of her own.

The documentary on her, A PIECE OF WORK, was really interesting. I saw it on Netflix streaming, but it may be gone. Anyway, it gives you a good look at Joan Rivers the person vs. Joan Rivers the comic.

I am a fan. Always have been. Like the Fashion Police but I generally enjoy her humor and her life story. I like the relationship with her daughter. Hoping for the best.

I find it especially sad for her daughter. It's never easy to have a parent in such a dire situation, and while they're both famous, in the end, it's just a person most likely about to deal with the loss of a parent, and all of everything that entails leading up to it. Once you've been through it, you understand the significance and difficulty.
