Hmm, I never had much pain with cortisone shots. Was your like into the flesh area or into the joint?
I have a hip pain no one can figure out what from. Started about 10 year ago. I have had MRI and cat scan and everything looks normal. But about every 4-5 years I have to go into the hospital and lay on e a table and some guy with a live like x-ray takes some super long needle and goes all the way to the hip join and injects some sort of mixture of cortisone, and something else into the sac around the joint. Next day I am taking steps 2-3 at a time with ease.

Oh, Fran.....
Is any of that pain considered to be nerve pain at this point? There's a great holistic product called NerveFix that alleviated all of my sciatic pain until adequate "going easy" allowed it to heal up. I've recommended it to quite a few folks and gotten good feedback from the ones who thought to comment afterwards.

I'd gotten mine online but saw where.....CVS, maybe....was starting to carry it locally. I used it many years ago and figure it may have more local sales by now.
Good luck.

This time only in the tissues. I've had the in-the-joint injection on the opposite hip in the past. That's sure fun!?
I figured it was all soft tissue injury but the MRI did show that there was some damage to the femur; minor crush fracture that healed. Don't know if it is genetics and/or the fact that I've been taking gluc/chon for years and years, but a recent bone density study was excellent.
Guess I've been compensating for a while now because doc said I'm not walking straight and that needs to be corrected. Hopefully, relief of the pain will take care of that.
