    Speaker phone mistakes?

Since I work at home, I don't really speak to people unless a customer calls. So I listen to the radio. A lot. And when someone says something that is literally a song lyric, I sing the song to my husband. I use the term "sing" loosely. Today I called my husband at work, he quoted a song lyric and, yep, I started to sing the song. And he said, "You're on speaker". Nothing like entertaining complete strangers.

    Anyone else?

I've been on a call when someone else thought they were on mute and wasn't! Mostly just background noise or innocent talk. But one time I was on a call and someone else that was on the same call send me an IM. "Can you hear me?!" she asked. "No. Just some background noise" She proceeded to tell me that she was going off because this call was boring, a waste of time and the project manager was an idiot and she realized she wasn't on mute. She really got luck on that one. I thought I'd learn from her mistake and I always double check the mute.

Oh, I've done that- not look to make sure I'm on the correct message and I'm telling someone at work something I thought I was telling my daughter. Um, sorry, not you.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
