to me a waste of money. check on your states definition on resolution or quality requirements to be used in court.
only reason I would want the camera is to catch the criminals, but I decided the home insurance I pay is good enough.
maybe a combination of motion detected solar powered flood lights and camera would produce best results...
I have never seen HQ nightvision unless subject was stationary and posing in combination with being "painted" with IR light and thats with 3,000 dollar plus military grade equipment.
thats why im interested in this thread, cause I cant recommend anything for an outdoor/country environment that doesnt have streetlights or home floodlights providing "some" light to help the camera record and focus with reasonable quality.
You're going to spend a ton of money getting exactly what you want. There are retailers that spend huge huge money on video surveillance and still provide us with pictures that aren't worth jack shit.
