    Boots and Socks

Anybody have Coach Sonya Snow boots? Navy Exchange is having a sale this upcoming Wednesday and they are $75.00. I need a good pair for shoveling and walking the dogs. Here's the link to the ones I'm talking about: Amazon.com: Coach Women's Sonya Winter Signature Boot (Khaki/Chestnut): Shoes

On another note, Hallmark is selling boot socks by Noelle. They are free with a $20 purchase; can't get better than that. Our local Hallmark store is having the annual holiday ornament sale next weekend and I always get the kids ornaments so it's going to be very easy to spend $20. I'm not sure is a coupon is needed; you can check with your local Hallmark store.

My Canadian Tire snow boots are still holding up. Think I paid around $75 for them. It's fairly easy to bickle my snowsahoes on over them. Of course I don't need snow boots too often, living here in the banana belt.

As for socks I swear by Smartwool socks and wear them year round. Good cushioning, very durable - I've had a couple pairs for three or four years. They're very comfortable, even in warm weather. When I wear cotton socks now I'm displeased by their clamminess when they get damp from perspiration.

My concern is if they are really snow boots or just fashion. I've never owned Coach shoes, just seemed like too much money to spend for a name. The picture in the ad makes them look good but we'll see tomorrow. I need tall boots for shoveling, etc.

Doubledip1, I have a pair of boots similar to that but not of the snow type. Got them from Bass Pro and have labs on them. Love them for working in the yard/garden when it's wet.
