    Didn't Exoect This

Posting from a lovely hospital room. Never thought this was going to happen. Kidney stone is a good size, stuck just below the kidney and caused complete blockage. Went to take a nap yesterday and the pain launched me out of bed.

Been here since yesterday noon, had the CT, high on drugs, waiting for the specialist to get here and decide what to do so I can have some water, a meal and get to go home. Not that I don't like being waited on, just that this is not my choice of places. DH is trying to hold down the fort. He had almost no sleep yesterday, visiting here, taking care of Mardi and Archie, and then had to work all night. The furkids were left alone from 7 pm till 6 am and DH says there were no problems. Now DH needs to sleep and hope they decide to be good a little bit longer.

If you could spare a little mojo, would appreciate it.

    Thanks all.

Internist was here, another x-ray taken to see where the stone is this morning, and urologist on his way. At this point I'm hoping to get something to drink and maybe a little something to eat. Or better yet, if a scope or stent is needed, do it this morning and let me go home.

This waiting for things to happen is not my strong point.

So sorry Fran. I hope they can do something for you to break that sucker up. I'll be thinking of you and sending prayers. I hope you can get home soon and the pooches behave themselves just a bit longer. Maybe you could get your grandson to go over and hang with them a bit to ease your worries.

Boy, lucky I checked in today on the board. Hope you feel better Fran, and I hope they get it out. I know it's very painful as my Dad had trouble with those about 10 years ago. Take care of yourself. Get well soon!
