My mom bought one about originally right before we redid our kitchen when the stove died. She replaced it again when we actually did the kitchen because it was such a pain to clean. On top of the general cleanliness of it you have to be careful you dont scratch the glass either.
We moved into an all electric house and needed to replace the range, I chose the glass top and love it!
