It will be extra au vin! It may cook more quickly because of the excess liquid, so keep it an eye on it and let us know how it tastes! I usually just do it in a Dutch oven because I love slaving in the kitchen :-D
So its in the crock pot now as we speak. I did brown it first too but I used 1/2 the bottle of wine...the recipe called for only 1/2 cup. LOL

Oh no! I thought extra liquid would keep it from drying out...crap. And its got 8 hours on low with them another hour on keep warm til I get there.
