I'm glad he's nearly home. Really hoping that whoever cares for him follows all the recommendations for his recovery carefully. After all this, we want things to continue going well!

Great work, Kevin! Keep it up!!!

I am just seeing all of this...

Oh my...what a strong little boy....so much to go through for his young age.

Glad to hear he is making progress and on the road to recovery.

Sending prayers and good thoughts for him.

Kevin is home here in Klamath Falls with his mom and sister. Tuesday he will be 5 weeks out from surgery, the doctors say he can go back to school December 1, with lots of restrictions. He won't be able to come to our home to visit us for a while because we own cats and he has cat fur allergy causing asthma (and we have two cats) and his heart is only functioning at 25% and he can't have anything they may cause his asthma to act up. But we will be able to visit him, as I've been staying amicable with his mother, and she isn't going to keep them away from us. Which I'm grateful for. Please continue prayers and mojo, as he will be 6 months minimum (could take up to a year for his heart to get back to 90% function, he'll never get back up to 100%) but he's alive, which was not expected just 4 weeks ago.

Sorry I haven't been catching people up much lately as I've had some issues with my own health. My memory is getting worse. Having more issues with not being at a functional level for more then one day a week. I'm just really getting frustrated with it.
