Oh man. This sucks. As much as you and Nick keep getting knocked down you're still standing and you sound pretty together. You are amazingly strong and your hutspah is what's saving you. Keep talking and sharing, and bitching and talking some more and I'll keep you both in my thoughts for a HUGE turnaround really quickly.

Scary, I don't think I'd be able to do it. Continued prayers that healing begins soon, and that all goes well. Keep hanging in there.

That wound sounds like it would be painful. So glad it didn't hurt Nick to have it cleaned. Hope you start to see some healing.

What a mess! Glad to nurse got there quickly and someone you like. Also, very glad it is not too painful for Nick.

Know you are talking to a doctor you know but you might want to ask about a wound care center. These doctors specialize in this type of problem.

Sending tons more mojo and prayers for a quick turn around so Nick can get on with his healing and recovery.

BTY, we would "beat you up side your head" (as we would say in the south) if you did not let us help and support you and Nick.

yup, taking more pictures tomorrow when whatever nurse shows up.

i fear the call monday and fear the look of the wound tomorrow. i am freaked out but trying my best to be positive.
    scared.

tracy and frank came over and brought dinner. i also got him outside for bit today, leg up.

frank also suggested instead of disability ($170 less social security a week) that nick go on social security disability even tho he will first be 63at the end of the month . that will probably be about $1100. a month and when he's ready to go back to work, they just stop it.
so i have to do that as well on mon.

i'm drained, scared, freaked and whatever else i could possibly think of in terms of fear.

loved the nurse that came today even tho she was an hour late. of course, only does weekends and is going on vacation so…..
the wound i think, looked better. she cleaned it better than the other two nurses, measured for real, and one spot is down to the bone but she thinks it will heal.for what that's worth.
nurse also called in supplies because I'm still buying them and they are supposed to send. she also told her supervisor NO WAY CAN PATIENT'S WIFE DO THIS. hope
    gHI feels the same way.

he's mopey but i cant blame him .cory came with breakfast with the twins so that was an uplift for him.
cristina came for a bit and told me to get rest and gave me a script for xanex.
    ya think?

calling super doc 2, to see if plastic surgeon has opening and we will then go back and let him look and see . i m so praying it will just heal, with a big dent but close up.
