LOL!
No not that but when we moved into our house, there was a drop ceiling in the basement. The two cats we had could get up in there through the furnace room. Odd to watch ceiling tiles bowing as they were walking around.
The ceiling! The basement ceiling is low and covered with rough paint that has sparkles in it. From the top of the cat stand Lucy can easily reach the ceiling and she's trying to catch the sparkles. If it's up high Lucy is intrigued by it. No other cat has ever done such a thing in our house.
Anybody else got a ceiling scratcher cat?

I'll bet it's really cute to see.
Wow! Never heard of that before. I bet it's cute.
You really need to video that for us! What a funny little kitten.

Never had issues with that, but we can't leave step stools or ladders out, because Annie will climb up them and try to get to the ceiling, don't know what she wants to do once she is up there but she's hard to get off when she climbs up. Cats are silly critters
that must be fun to see her looking at them and pawing.
When i moved back home from out West, I came home with my two 4.5-5 month old sister cats. My brother had a sound studio in mum and dads house, the one room had carpet all the way up the walls from floor to ceiling. My kittens decided this.is.THE.coolest.thing.EVER and would do laps around the room, chasing each other, at the TOP of the walls. it seriously looked like one of those 70 sci-fi movies with no special effects budget where they'd bolt floor furniture like table and chairs to the walls to show you the characters were walking on the walls or ceilings. instead, its kitties ripping around the room at ceiling height.
