Should I Divorce Him For This?

We spent most of Sunday in Emerg. OH woke up, had chest pain, nausea, shortness of breath, cold sweat. Not likely a heart attack after a day of tests but he's being sent to Acute Cardiology for stress tests and other tests on Wednesday. He has a nitro puffer and is to take baby aspirin daily till all is clear.

Today he started a gentle walking with the Doctor's ok. Not up and out with me and Oban, oh no, by himself down the trail. He tells me where he's going and he doesn't come home in the time it should take. So I call, nitwit did think to take his phone. He met a neighbour and stopped to chat. He went much further than he said he would and dilly dallied along and never called me to he was doing anything different than he said he'd do. After yesterday all day in Emerg.

He's an idiot. An inconsiderate idiot. I'm sitting here thinking if I can't reach him on his phone I'll put my running shoes on and how far down will I have to run and what if he went into one of the side properties and which one might it be? Arrggghhhh.

Hospital called while I was typing to see how he is. I said he's fine but his brain doesn't work any better than it ever did, could they do something about that? !!!!!!!!

    they are all the same.

i now understand, why some women run away, leave no trace, and go to an island and live happily ever after.

You did the right thing, if you suspect a heart attack, bypass your pcp, get in an ambulance and GET to the nearest ER ASAP. Paramedics can start IV's and send ekg as they roll, and er can determine from that if they need angioplasty or bypass but TIME TIME TIME is critical to save heart tissue. Not a doc, but been there done that, and did NOT like the T shirt or the flavor of the koolaid.

@Bett, whoa, whoa WHOA there!! We are NOT all the same. (Some are tall, some are short, some thin, some fat, dark hair, light hair, bald)

Perhaps implant a GPS tracker on him. I told my DH when we got married that I put a GPS tracker in his ring. He really thinks I was joking

LOL, I'll go right out and buy one. His friend no longer runs coon hounds, maybe I can get the gps tracking collar he had as well.

He's home. He's fine. He wants us to go out tomorrow and clean up the mess of dumped leaves the lazy, eejit neighbours piled up along the trail access that are on top of the periwinkle (and thus will kill it) and spilling over onto the trail. I'll have to hold him off till at least after the tests on Wednesday.

So OH had 2 MIs at some point in his life, not sure when but he smoked 3 packs of Pall Malls a day until 2000 so sometime or another. They were probably silent or he went yo bed feeling bad and then got better. He's now married to me, Miss Pharma, and my dowry was health insurance. He's got dead muscle but the angiogram said the heart had built a new routing system, but he still has diminished output. If he had disappeared like that I'd be in jail looking for a defense lawyer:-)
