Thanks I know she will love it. She is so sad over her loss as you all can imagine. She gave me her box of treats to donate to lacie and other fosters or dogs at the rescue and she was balling just having to give them to me.I went home that night and cried my eyes out not only for her but thinking about the day I will have to make that decision for Gauge I don't even want to think about it. He if course made it worse by laying on me in bed licking my face made me cry harder lol.

I think it is abeutiful idea, however since you said it was an extra gift, I wouldn't wait for Christmas and give it to her early.

Do it! When I put lily down I would have loved to have that to get me through the holidays.

Absolutely a great idea. Last year, my girlfriends family lost their chocolate to cancer. My sister drew a pencil photo of her for mygirlfriends family and one for us. Her photo hangs with her two paw prints that they stamped in our family room. Means so much to us. It is painful but its a warm reminder.

Lovely idea. Over the years I have received some beautiful items and cherish every one.

I think you are a very kind & thoughtful friend! I think she will love the gifts! Maybe, like someone else suggested, give her the little ornament ahead of time so it can be there on her tree.

Christmas is still a ways off--it is very hard, but she will be adjusting in between time.....
