    I'm sorry, it really sucks, esp when it sneaks up on you like that.
    I lost my 2 about 3 months apart, its horrible b/c you're not nearly done with the fresh raw grief from the 1st one when the 2nd one goes. and then the empty house.....
    i sure hope you get some more quality time with Blue, and a longer term than what the vet is predicting.

    Max was hard, but almost easier because he was older, and we knew he was having more old age issues. We had years of getting older to "prepare". It definitely has not been easy by any means, though. Blue is such a surprise. On Friday night, I find a lump on the left side of her neck, and by today, the right side is also much, much larger than it was. Ugh....When life gives you lemons, your mouth puckers and your eyes water. I'm not sure about this lemonade stuff!
