Just finished The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin, The 9th Girl by Tami Hoag, and The Boy in the Suitcase by Lene Kaaberbol. I listen to a lot of books on tape when driving or doing things around the house (like perusing the Lab Board ;)) and I just had a 6 1/2 hour drive to and back from NC. I liked the sweet little story of AJ Fikry but the reader had such an annoyingly measured pace that I could have finished the book in about half the time if I had read it, read it. The other two were very satisfactory for passing the time while on a long drive. I didn't think I liked John Sandford books and haven't really read any of his Lucas Davenport (Prey series) books but I have listened to or read all his Virgil Flowers books and like them a lot.
Listening to? If not books, then usually NPR radio.
eta: Speaking of which, I heard the author interview on NPR the other day and have this loaded on my Kindle for an upcoming trip: All the Light We Cannot See
