I'm just barely into "Personal Injuries" by Scott Turow. It has a sub theme on ALS which is interesting considering all the ice bucket challenges going on these days and the recent thread on them.

    That sounds interesting.

I'm on the deck listening to cicadas, the crickets starting to sing, and a gospel band down at the park a couple hundred meters away.

Still plowing through this. It's not a hard read at all, reading a few pages a day.

Finally finished, hooray! Now, on to the next book.

Listening to the Ozark Mountain Daredevils' debut album. It's toe-tapping music.

Listening to Vinyl Tap, a CBC program hosted every Saturday evening by Randy Bachman. He does a themed program and tonight's theme was 'Big or Little' in either the group or song name.

Reading: finishing The Men Who United the States, by Simon Winchester. Slowly working my way through Christopher Hitchens' Thomas Paine The Rights of Man. I've found it a book best read a few pages at a time, digested, then read a few more pages, repeat. On deck: Truman by David McCullough and John A. (about Sir John A. MacDonald) by Richard Gwyn.
