Betty, were you wearing clogs when you fell? I don't know why, for some reason I thought you wear Danskos or those type clogs. I need to know if I need to throw mine out!!! JK, I'm just hoping you get some major improvement soon. That eschar, or whatever the doc called it, looks painful.

No clogs.actuallu ugg slippers but i really just think i screwed up, thinking i was done with the steps but there was one more, and the right foot turned under me. Just one of those unlucky things.

meanwhile, im praying it doesnt really snow here mon because i think the ambulette wont take me if it does.

im also pretty foul, avoiding people, and weepy.

will talk with cristina whenever she calls me.
im not taking more than one xanex, just to fall asleep, and usually taking less pain meds than prescribed.my stomach is screwed up from the oxy and that's not helping.

i think im just going a tad bit nuts.

Know you are going crazy being stuck inside and immobile too. It's so hard for an active person like you and wanting your house just the way you want it. Hang in there, you're healing. Huge hugs to you.

Hope you don't get the snow. Maybe we are going to get it for you - starts tonight and goes through till Monday morning. Gonna be a big one this time.

Just called the ambulette company as if it's bad, they dont go.i will call dr's office at9, and try and get a wed appt, with the thought that the ambulette will get me there then ( i called already and begged).

tues is 5 weeks, stitches will be coming out ( almost positive) and i have the boot so maaaaaybe, even without weight, ill get the cam boot which nick tells me is more comfy.this last cast, for whatever the reason, is more painful than the others.

meanwhile, i heard a ski story on the news- woman broke both of her ankles.im trying to say how lucky i am.

So hope the snow holds off for you Monday. Right now we are getting slammed; already 8 inches and about another 10 to go.

Be great to get that cast off and into a boot.

As bad as it is, you are lucky you weren't skiing. Oh does that bring up chuckles, you and me out on the slopes. As we went up the ski lift, the ambulances would be parking at the bottom of the hill.
