they don't predict when i will be all done. only that medicare will be done soon but they are trying to extend further.

and i guess it was necessary that i got up at 4 with a raging UTI. had those little pills that in 3 hrs take the pain away, make you pee orange, and even the antibiotic and lucky me, my dr was on call. so he called in more pills, and i can come and see him early mon morning, before PT.

    aint life grand?

Dam, you are not getting a break at all. Glad you got on the UTI issue right away. The discomfort from that should resolve fairly quickly but be sure to take all your antibiotic even if you're feeling better.

So I wake up Monday morning with hives. Seems I now can add bactrim to the list of antibiotics I can't take. Went to ankle dr because one of the hives was on the sole of my bad leg. He agreed it looked like a hive, watched me walk with and without the cane and told me to use the cane. I am officially depressed. Somehow it seems my gait is better with the cane and me being me, took it as a step backwards. He reassured me telling me I will get better. Yes I am in a funk.
Dr also wants me to go to an allergist because I need to find an antibiotic safe to take. Yeah , not going now. Kinda sick of Drs.
As you can tell, today was NOT a good day. I need to get out of this " mood" and fast.
Sorry to be such a downer. Those who know me know I'm not usually this way.
Am I ever going to get all better?

YES, you are going to get better. You had some bad breaks and they take time to heal plus getting the muscles, tendons and ligaments back into working order.

Know it has been such a long haul but hang in there, it will get better.

Sending along hugs and prayers for continued healing.

I always hate having to recover from stuff....and have never had to recover from as much as you've going on. "Slowly but surely", "keep your chin up", "it just takes time", blah blah blah...and all that other good stuff that only sounds good to the person saying it. Having to wait recovery out sucks no matter how you look at it.

Sending you major good healing thoughts and virtual hugs.

(that's all I'm allowed to insert)
