Mine isn't as exciting as most of the ones on here are.
We met at work. It was a printing plant that made catalogues and magazines. I had just started there and he had just moved back from Colorado. He worked 3rd shift and I worked 2nd but I always had to stay late which meant I worked the first half of 3rd shift and I always ended up on his machine. He was the operator and I was just a J2 as they called it. The building was always so loud due to the sounds of the machines but there was just something about him, he made the place quiet and he made me feel like I was the only person in the building even though there were hundreds of them running around.
It's actually funny, he used to wear work shirts with the name "Ray" on it so I thought that was his name for the longest time. I filled a box and he didn't believe me when I said it had 10 layers in it so he cut it open and said "I will give you whatever you want if this has 10 layers and I am wrong", well, he wanted me to ask for a date (I did not) and I ended up being right. He did eventually ask me out and I panicked when I was talking to another person and he said, "you are going out on a date with Jeremy this weekend?" I was confused because I really thought his name was Ray. Turns out, it was just a nickname people called him. Lol.
Well, 11 years of being together, almost 6 years of marriage, 3 different states, and 3 houses later we are still together even though we both say the other one is "a one night stand that just never left".

LOL! We say this too.
I met my-soon-to-be husband (100 more days!) in college. We were both in greek life, he worked at a bar, we know how these stories go...
The best was when we had to give the PG version of our meeting story to the priest thats going to marry us.
But here we are 5, almost 6 years, later! We made it through college, our first jobs, and 3 years of long distance while i went to law school. Just got to make through the Bar Exam and we're all set.

I met Mitch when we both worked at Jack in the Box. He threw onions and pickles at me and locked me in the freezer. Have been married almost 29 years! That makes me sound old lol

I met Bill when we were in college on a long bus ride from Pennsylvania to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for Spring Break. We bonded over music, sunshine and blue hurricanes! We'll be married 29 years in November!

Happy Anniversary! I also have an anniversary coming up in a few days, our 42nd. I met Barney at a high school dance. I had just moved here and didn't know anyone. He asked me to dance and he swept me away with his smile and his kind and caring personality.

It was 1983. I was 16 and he was 18. We met at the mall. He liked my corduroy coat and I liked the comb in his back pocket.
Because The Eighties.
The end.
