    Thanks everyone!!
It will be three weeks tomorrow since my sons leg and ankle met the soccer goal post at school in gym class. He is doing much better, he's off the crutches and walking with his air cast ankle stirrup almost pain free. He is walking with a limp, but has been back at school after missing just over a week. He won't be returning to gym class before the year ends, as he will be in the air cast until July 1.
My daughters finger is still splinted. It was re-xrayed and no fracture seen, but she is unable to bend her DIP joint at all and they are now worried that she has another tendon injury and she will be seen on Monday by the Hand Specialist that she saw for her first finger injury a few months ago. It is her index finger on her right hand which has been making school work a challenge for her.
I am also seeing my Hand Specialist on Monday to see if there are any surgical interventions that can be done on the finger I broke in August last summer. I never regained my ability to flex or extend it normally and continue to have pain in both my PIP and DIP joints (I broke the finger into the PIP joint and the DIP joint wasn't broken but have a mallet finger injury with loss of joint space in it)
All good thought are appreciated and thanks to all in advance!!!

That's a lot of breaks, PIP's and DIP's. Good thoughts for the whole family that everything heals quickly.

Wow, that's a long time to be..."inconvenienced" by all those breaks! I hope a way to improve your (and son and daughter's) ROM is found soon!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
