The last time I was home he made himself a mayonnaise and banana sandwich......

This is a regular thing in the south. I've never eaten it but people rave about a banana/mayo sandwich but it has to be Duke's Mayo. Something about the vinegar.

And LOL about the "Testicle Festival"!!!

Oh, my Dad used to combine Chicken Noodle soup with Tomato soup. He was so proud of his concoction that he said he was to write to Cambell's with his suggestion. *puke*

Jell-o "surprise" with leftovers from the fridge in it. So nasty. I haven't ate it but my best friend said one of her relatives cooked that for Thanksgiving.

Oh, I know that one! And match the colors of the leftovers with the colors in the Jello like celery with the lime Jello or carrots with the orange Jello. Then dump mayo on top for that little extra oomph.

A friend was excited, years ago, to try a New York City macrobiotic restaurant. We agreed to meet her there. The prices were outrageous. I ordered some oat and burdock concoction. Bleh. Worst thing I ever ate. It was like a punishment gruel from a Dickens novel. My husband and I picked at our different orders, then went elsewhere for a very good dessert!

He is from Georgia so I guess that explains it. I still think mayo and fruit on bread is disgusting!
