    Bump

Some "nice" person managed to clip the diver's side rear panel on the Jeep. It had to be something like another SUV or truck since it is high up. It's near the tail light, a little below, a dent, where the upper panel meets the lower panel. On the lower panel paint was scraped off. Think they would make themselves known, nada.

Now the run around trying to get it fixed. Hate this kind of stuff.

That's unfortunate. Not only the damage; more importantly they did not own up.

I'm sorry. I hate that stuff. Ours aren't worth fixing up anymore but I still cringe when I see a parking lot scratch or dent.

The insurance company recommended a couple of places for repair, one very close. Turns out since we have many policies with this company they will refund me 50% of the deductible. Hurray!

A few years ago our brand new Ford Escape was hit once and our Jeep Grand Cherokee was hit twice in the span of a week. Not cool for you and your Jeep.

Surveillance cameras where you were parked? Mistakes happen but not owning up is pretty disappointing for you. Now for the time it takes you to run around and be without a vehicle while it gets fixed, phooey.

And the cost for fixing what appears to be a relatively small boo-boo always seems astronomical! It does make it look like new again though. Hope the process proves painless! Sorry the dirtball left you in the lurch.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Not telling people that you "bumped" their car is really HORRIBLE. So sorry to hear that happened to you.

I have bumped two cars - one in our old complex - left note (they called and said don't worry about it)
Another in our neighborhood - I left note. Saw them later looking at note and car and went up to them to apologize. She was so shocked that I left note.... (i thought to myself..isn't that normal) apparently not.!!
